Introduction to Annapurna Sanctuary Trek
Annapurna Sanctuary Trek also known as Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the shortest major treks in Nepal. You can get a close view of some of the highest mountain ranges. Trekking through diverse landscapes mixed with culture combining beautiful terraced fields, Gurung villages and a wide variety of flora and fauna. The trek begins with the lowland bamboo forests and rhododendrons before going up to Modi Khola Gorge into the majestic Annapurna Sanctuary.

Outline of Itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu to Pokhara (850 m) Duration: 7 hrs. in an AC tourist bus distance 210 km.
Day 02: Pokhara to Nayapul 1.5 hours and trekking to Ulleri (1960m). Duration: 3.5 hours.
Day 03: Ulleri to Ghorepani (2800 m) Duration: 5 hours 30 minutes.
Day 04: Poon Hill Hiking( 3210m), 1.5 hours and trek to Tadapani(2630 m) Duration: 6 hours 30 minutes.
Day 05: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2170 m) Duration: 5 hours.
Day 06: Chhomrong to Dovan (2600 m) Duration: 5 hours.
Day 07: Dovan to Deurali (3200 m) Duration: 4 hours.
Day 08: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m) Duration: 4 hours 30 minutes.
Day 09: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2245 m) Duration: 6 hours 30 minutes.
Day 10: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (Hot Spring) (1760m) Duration: 5 hours 30 minutes.
Day 11: Jhinu Danda to Pokhara (850 m) Duration: 5 hours walk to Nayapul and 1 hour 30 minutes drive through the car.
Day 12: Pokhara to Kathmandu (1350 m) 7 hours through tourist bus and farewell dinner in the evening.

Annapurna Sanctuary Camp Difficulty
Altitude Sickness: The major difficulty while trekking to the Himalaya is the high altitude sickness. Hence, it is recommended to take some medicines to prevent altitude sickness and to take precautions.
Weather and Temperature: Weather and Temperature are also one of the major factors which can make trekking a difficulty and tricky one. The autumn season is the best season to trek at Annapurna Sanctuary Trek due to the cool weather and temperature at this time of the year. Spring is also the best alternative option to trek at the Annapurna region. Winter season is the most challenging season at the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek. Hence, you should precaution and pack all the required clothing, if the weather drastically changes in the mountain.
Lack of training: You could also take some professional help or join some trekking program if you want to go to Annapurna Sanctuary Trek. You should be prepared both physically and mentally. Moreover, you could hire a healthy porter to carry your heavy loads.
