Details Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in TIA Kathmandu (1350 m)
Arrive at the airport in Kathmandu and Himalayan Holy Land Treks representative will welcome you and drops to your hotel. As you reach the hotel there will be a hotel check-in after that you can do some rest and be fresh. After a few rests, you will be introduced with the trekking guide. In the evening, you can stroll around alluring Thamel Bazaar where you can be familiar to the place. You can also enjoy welcome dinner with our team with the typical cultural program. You will stay overnight in the hotel at Kathmandu.
Note: Welcome dinner is optional.
Day 02: Kathmandu City tour (1350 m)
In this day have early morning breakfast and the whole day you will visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites with your trekking guide. You can visit the world heritage sites of Kathmandu Valley including Pashupatinath Temple, Syambhunath temple, Boudhanath Stupa. In the evening, there will be a short orientation class about the trek and you can prepare for the next day trek. Have dinner and stay overnight in the same hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Sotikhola by bus or private Jeep 7/8 hrs (710 m)
Today, we will have an early morning breakfast and continue drive journey to Seti Khola, the starting point of the trek from Kathmandu. As we begin our trek, there you will get chances to follow beautiful Budi Gandaki River while driving. Around 8 to 9 hours of the scenic drive with beautiful Nepalese Village will take us to the Soti Khola. You can enjoy witnessing Dhading Besi, Arughat, beautiful green hills, dense forests, thundering rivers and traditional settlements during our drive journey and finally arrive at Soti Khola. Have dinner with us and stay overnight in the guest house at Soti Khola.
Day 04: Trek Soti Khola to Machhakhola 5/6 hrs (900 m)
In this day we will have an early morning breakfast and continue trek from Seti Khola to Machhakhola, which is situated at the elevation of the 900m. The trail is full of ups and downs and goes through the narrow and rocky terrain. We will also come across many beautiful waterfalls and through the beautiful Sal forests, then climb onto a ridge above huge rapids on the Budhi Gandaki. As we drop towards the sandy river bed, we walk along rounded stones before climbing over a side ridge. The trekking trail will Pass-through Armala, Lapubesi, Philim, Khani Besi along with various ethnic villages, towering waterfall, green Hills, thundering Budhi Gandaki river and various rice Paddies before reaching Machha Khola. We will head down again to the river and cross another suspension bridge to reach Machha Khola village. Have a dinner and stay overnight in the guest of Machha Khola.
Day 05: Trek Macha Khola to Jagat 5/6 hrs (1410 m)
Have morning breakfast and continue trek towards Jagat from Machha Khola. Jagat is located at the altitude of 1,370m. Trek around 6 to 7 hours several ups and down until you will rich to the village of Jagat. We shall have some more ups and down in this section of the trekking trail. Ascending along the river and past the cultivated fields and stone steps, we shall reach the hot spring in Tatopani village. After enjoying in the gushy hot waters and relaxing ourselves a bit we shall climb through forest and cross the Budhi Gandaki to reach the ridge of Dobhan. We shall cross the Yaru Khola and reach to Tharo Bharyang walking through the stone steps. Our destination of Jagat is reached after crossing the west bank of Budhi Gandaki river. We will pass natural hot spring, Tatopani, Budhi Gandaki River, and beautiful village Dobhn, Thado Bhanjyang and finally arrive at Jagat. Have dinner and stay overnight in the guest house of Jagat.
Day 06: Trek Jagat to Deng 5/6 hrs (1810 m)
Early in the morning we will have an early breakfast and continue our pleasing trek towards Deng, situated at the elevations of the 1,860m. We will again ascend to a terraced hill of Salleri and view of Sringi Himal (7177 m). The trail turns north just above the lowest house in the village and stays on a fairly level trail as it crosses millet fields to Ekle Bhatti. The valley widens a bit as the trail continues to Ghatta Khola. We further continue walking upstream to a long suspension bridge in Philim, a large Gurung village. Enjoy with a great view of Shringi Himal, discover some Buddhist Mani Walls. We will descend to the grassy land slopes, cross the Budhi Gandaki. Trek through terraced fields, green hills, bamboo forests of Nupri Valley. Cross few suspension bridges and various villages such as; Salleri, Sirdibas, Phillim, Eklebhatti, Nyak and finally we will reach beautiful Deng Village. Have a dinner and stay overnight in the guest house of Deng.
Day 07: Trek Deng to Namrung 6/7 hrs (2630 m)
Today, we will have an early morning breakfast and continue trek by departing Deng and continue trek towards Namrung, situated at the elevations of 2,540m. Cross Budhi Gandaki River, the beautiful village of Rana people. Today we cross Budhi Gandaki River several times through the suspension bridges. We can witness amazing fields of flowering mustard. The further trek towards west following a wonderful waterfall, beautiful rhododendron forest with Langur Monkey, and eventually, we will reach Namrung. The further trek will take us to Ghap, where we can hear the pleasant sound of a waterfall and observe ancient writings and art in the stones. Enjoy spectacular views of Himalayan peaks such as; Ganesh Himal, Himal Chuli and many more. The further trek will lead us to the Namrung where we will have dinner and stay overnight at Namrung.
Day 08: Trek Namrung to Lho Gau 4/5 hrs (3520 m)
In this day we will have an early morning breakfast and continue to trek across the beautiful Hinan River until you will reach the Lho Gau. You will continue trek with the majestic views of the Himalayas such as; Naike Peak, Manaslu North (7,774 m) and Manaslu (8,150 m) and many more. After some hours of hiking, we will reach Lho Gaon. During our trek, we will enjoy extraordinary views of Mt. Manaslu from Lho village and also explore the famous Ribung Gompa. Have dinner and stay overnight in the guest house of Lho Gau.
Day 09: Trek Lho Gau to Samagaun 3 hrs (3500 m)
Have an early morning breakfast and continue our trek to Samagaun a beautiful village with a great view of Mt. Manaslu. As you reach the top of the hill, you can explore the ancient Buddhist monastery of Ribung Gompa. In this evening, you can stroll around and explore the place around. Have dinner and stay overnight in the guest house of Samagaun.
Day 10: Explore a day in Samagaun 3500 m
Have an early morning breakfast and we will stay at Samagaun for acclimatization and Take this time to explore around. Take some rest and visit Birendra Tal which is nearby Samagaon Village. Explore the Pung Gyen Monastery and have an impressive view of Manaslu Himal and other 29 wonderful peaks. If you wish we can trek to Manaslu Base Camp and trek back to Samagaun. (It takes around 7 to 8 hours to reach Manaslu Base Camp. Have dinner and stay overnight in the guest house of Samagaon.
Day 11: Trek Samagaun to Samdo 5/6 hrs (3860 m)
Next morning, we will have an early breakfast and continue our journey onward to Samdo, at the elevation of the 3,860 meters along the Budhi Gandaki River that has turned north from the village of Samagaun. We will follow left to the Larkya La Pass and several Mani Walls existed over there. Continue trek passing beautiful Samagaon Village and reach to Samdo Village. Around 3 to 4 hours trek will take us to the Samdo. Have a dinner and stay overnight in the guest house of Samdo.
Day 12: Trek Samdo to Dharmashala 4/5 hrs (4460 m)
Have an early morning breakfast and begin the trek towards Dharmashala, following the beautiful river and along a glacier and Larke Phedi. Reach the beautiful Gorge village and explore various Mani walls. Larke Phedi is located at the altitude of 4,460m and also known as Larke Base Camp. Have dinner with a guide and stay overnight in the guest house of Dharamshala,
Day 13: Wake up early morning for Larke La pass (5160 m) and Bhimthang 8/9 hrs (3720 m)
Have an early morning breakfast and continue trek ahead to Larke La Pass, at the elevation of 5160meters. By following the challenging trek around 8 to 9 hours takes us to the climb up to the Larke La Pass. Continue trek towards the beautiful place Bimthang, which is located at the altitude of 3590m. During our trek, we may witness wildlife such as; blue sheep, marmot, pika, and Tibetan snow-cock tracks and snow leopard paw prints if you are lucky enough. We can also enjoy gorgeous views of several Himalayas such as; Himlung Himal, Manaslu Peak, Annapurna II, Kangguru Himal, and Cheo Himal. Have dinner and stay overnight in the guest house of Bimthang.
Day 14: Trek Bhimthang to Tilje 5/6 hrs (2300 m)
Have an early morning breakfast and continue trek with the views of beautiful Himalayan peaks. As compared to other days, today’s route is quite easier where we will follow the ridge at Bhimthang, with the great views of Mt. Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, Himlung Himal and Cheo Himal. We will descend further and cross a high pasture (Sangure Kharka) followed by a bridge over Dudh Khola. Following the intersecting glacier, we will cross the steel Bailey’s bridge to reach the small village of Karcher. The further trek on the rocky terrain along the riverbed we contour along the sliding hillsides towards the lower altitude and reach to the village of Tilije. We will descend down to Tilije by following the lovely rhododendron forests, one of the highest cultivated village, Karachi, Gho Village and finally Tilije village. Have dinner and stay overnight in the guest house of Tilije.
Day 15: Trek Tilje to Dharapani 5/6 hrs (1700 m)
In this day, have an early morning breakfast and we will leave Tilje, famous for agricultural activity. The further trek will take us to Thonche, the ending point of the Manaslu Trail. Another bridge leads trekkers to Dharapani where the Annapurna tourist highway is met and you start missing the quaint Manaslu Trail. Have dinner and stay overnight in the guest house of Dharapani.
Day 16: Drive Dharapani to Besisahar by jeep 800 m (4/5 hrs)
In this day, we will have an early morning breakfast, and we will begin our trek back to Beshisahar with the admirable view of mountains and Rhododendron Forest alongside. It will take around 4/5 hours (more or less) to reach Beshisahar. As you reach the Beshisahar, we will have dinner and stay overnight in the guest house at Beshisahar.
Day 17: Drive back to Kathmandu by Bus or Private Jeep 6/7 hrs (1300 m)
Have an early morning breakfast and continue trek from Beshisahar drive back to Kathmandu. You will enjoy the scene of hills and rivers along the highway, we reach Kathmandu after 6 hours of drive. You can do some souvenir shopping in the vibrant Thamel if you want. In the evening, you can enjoy farewell dinner to celebrate the successful completion of our journey with the typical Nepali cultural program. You will stay overnight in the guest house of a hotel.
Day 18: Final Departure Day
Today is last day at Nepal, we will have an early morning breakfast and go through the hotel check out process. After that one of our representatives will transfer you to the Airport, 3 hours before your departure schedule. We will wish you a safe flight and hope to meet you soon in this wonderful country Nepal.
