These are ACAP permit which costs (30 US $) 3,000 NPR for foreigners and the ACAP entry permit fee for SAARC nationalities cost NPR 300. The TIMS Card costs NPR 2,000 (around the US $ 20).

The cost of food and accommodation

As you begin Mardi Himal Trek, you will get 3-star category hotels in Kathmandu Valley and the Pokhara. But during your trek to Mardi Himal, you will get numerous basic tea houses on the different location of Annapurna region of Nepal. Tea houses offer you a room with basic services where you may have to share the room. The twin-shared room costs about US$ 15 to US$25 (NRS 2000 to 3000 approx.) per night. The cost of the rooms also depends upon the season. The spring and Autumn season are the peak seasons when the price of accommodation will be higher as compared to the winter and summer seasons. The tea house offers you a variety of foods as per your preference with reasonable price. You will be provided early morning breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Although Mardi Himal is short and easy trek, you should take guide and porter. There were many solo trekkers in the past in this trek. But the government of Nepal has now rule of mandatory guide for the treks. They will guide you and lessen your burden during you trek that makes your trek safe, comfortable, and easy. Generally, the cost of the trek guide or porter is 25 US$ to 30 US$ per licensed guide, while a porter normally costs from 18 US$ to 22 US$. There are also the language guides that costs from 30 US$ to 100 US$ a day. Their experience, knowledge, guiding skill counts a much for this price. According to the group size, the trek companies provide assistant guide too who are normally paid from 20 US $ to 25 US $.
